Joe’s father was inducted into the Bartlett High School Hall of Fame in 2004, Class of 1932. He was also an outstanding three letter athlete. They are the first father and son to be so honored. Joe is married to his high school sweetheart, Constance and they have three children, Joe White III, Michael and daughter Wendy. Joe and Connie, now retired, reside at 239 Killdeer Road in Webster.

Joe and fellow BHS Hall of Fame member, Rene Langevin, were teammates for four years at Bartlett in all three sports, football, basketball and baseball, earned varsity letters in all 3 sports as a junior and senior.

A sophomore, Joe was a valuable part of the only undefeated football team. That year was followed by a very successful season in football for Joe too. In his senior year his football team lost but one game, sorry to say on Thanksgiving to our arch rival Mary E. Wells who was also undefeated going into that game. Joe was QB for the Green and White that Thanksgiving morning and had an outstanding running game.

Joe was our quarterback during our senior year, He was the team’s leading scorer in basketball averaging 17 points a game, and was an outstanding first baseman hitting .295. His memories of high school “BARTLETT WAS SOME OF THE BEST YEARS OF MY LIFE – GREAT YEARS”.
